Travel to Puerto Vallarta

Puerto Vallarta is located to the west of the State of Jalisco, in the convergence of the Sierra Madre Occidental and Banderas Bay in the Pacific Ocean.

Traveling by Air

Getting to Puerto Vallarta by plane from Mexico City takes approximately 1 hour and from Monterrey 2 hours. Most Mexican airlines have direct flights to this tourist destination.

Traveling by Land

The port is connected to Guadalajara by three highways: Guadalajara-Compostela-Puerto Vallarta Highway, Guadalajara-Autlán-Puerto Vallarta, and by the pilgrim route Guadalajara-Ameca-Talpa/Mascota- Puerto Vallarta. Many bus lines offer route to this city, some of them are ETN, Primera Plus, Futura, Vallarta Plus and TAP.
